Charles F. O’Hanlon serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of the company. Mr. O’Hanlon was previously a managing director of Cornerstone Capital Advisors, Ltd. of Pittsburgh. At Cornerstone, Mr. O’Hanlon was involved as an advisor and/or principal in numerous start-ups, spin-offs, and corporate restructurings. Previously he held a number of executive management positions with National City and Mellon Bank. Mr. O’Hanlon serves on the boards of several private companies. He previously served on the boards of the Pittsburgh Technology Council, the CEO Venture Fund, and the Pittsburgh Regional Healthcare Initiative. He received a B.S. in Industrial Management from Georgia Tech and an MBA from Robert Morris College.
Robbie B. Mailliard, Ph.D. serves as the company’s Director of Research and Development. Dr. Mailliard was previously a Senior Research Manager at the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute. He holds a Ph.D. in Immunology from the University of Amsterdam and a B.S. in Microbiology from the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Mailliard has authored 18 scholarly papers on cell-based immunology.
Aaron D. Nelson, Ph.D. serves as the Director of Regulatory Affairs for the company. Prior to joining Celsense, Dr. Nelson was a Post Doctoral Fellow at the University of Pittsburgh. He received his Ph.D. in Neuroscience and B.S. in Molecular Biology from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. He is currently an MBA candidate at Carnegie Mellon University.
Lourdes M. Castellanos, MBA serves as Controller for the company. Ms. Castellanos was previously a full-time mother and part-time community volunteer. Her volunteer activities centered on K-12 public education, non-partisan voter education, and other community centered activities. Ms. Castellanos began her career as a Federal and international tax analyst for what is now Consol Energy. She received her B.S. in Industrial Management from Georgia Tech and an MBA from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill.
